A UC Berkeley and Seattle University School of Law alum, Dominik has been licensed to practice law since 2000, and earned his Real Estate Broker’s license in 2006, Managing Broker’s License in 2008, and is a past Designated Broker for a real estate firm.  He holds an active WA, Managing Broker’s License.

Dominik started practicing Collaborative Law in 2009 and has practiced for nearly 15 years as a family law attorney. He is a current owner of Seattle Divorce Options PLLC and a past co-owner of Wechsler Becker, PLLC.  He is past President of King County Collaborative Law; Past-Chair of both the King County Bar Association Family Law Section (KCBA’s largest) and the Collaborative Law Section.  He is a member of the Collaborative Practitioners of Washington and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. He has an active family law practice.

The genesis of CollaborativeRealtor.com is Dominik’s ability to understand the sale of the home from both the perspective of the divorce attorney and of the realtor. By utilizing both perspectives he can better navigate the constraints brought by the divorce, he can better predict the needs of someone selling a home during (or post) divorce, and he can better marshal the resources necessary to prepare the home for sale. By dovetailing these two perspectives, neither transaction, ideally, remains independent from the other and a consistent approach is taken to both transactions with better, overall success.
